What a Crazy World We're Living In!

I often wonder how much further God is going to allow this world to go before closing the final chapter? How much worse can it get? We are facing global and moral atrocities, the likes of which haven't been seen since the days of Sodom and Gomorrah...

And that should tell us something.

Why are offenses assigned? It seems we are told, more often than not, what we are to hate, despise, and be hurt by. We are told what is right and what is wrong, but no moral compass exists in THAT world. How can one tell me that judging right and wrong according to the words of God's Holy Bible is wrong, while in the same breath, touting the rights of other religions, simply because they ARE? What makes them "set apart" from Christians? Or what makes our rights less important than those of others?

These questions are not new, and I certainly expect no answers. It just seems funny to me that the only religion deemed "dangerous" and "hateful" is the one most inclined towards peace at its very root. Other religions stone homosexuals to death in THIS DAY, and lop of the hands of thieves, but yet Christians are said to condone "hate speech" because our Word calls homosexuality an abomination.

Simply stated, I agree with a quote I recently came across by Brother Lee Stoneking: I would rather live this life as if there WAS a God and die to find there isn't, than to live as if there is NO God and die and found out that there is.

Amen, Brother Stoneking. Amen.
